Flags

The durability of a flag depends on a number of factors:

  • Weather
  • hoisting time
  • Material quality
  • Care & cleaning

On average, high-quality flags last around 6-24 months in outdoor use. In strong winds, intense sunlight or constant rain, the durability may be reduced.

  • For a long service life, we recommend
  • Regular cleaning and according to care instructions
  • Retracting the flag during storms or extreme weather
  • Use high-quality materials and printing processes
  • Dry storage when not in use

Ask the manufacturer about the durability of the various flag materials.

The choice between Polycanvas and Polytrans fabric for identification vests depends on the intended service life and durability requirements. Polycanvas, at 205 g/m², is a robust fabric with excellent printing properties and is particularly suitable for long outdoor durability. This makes it ideal for regular use or when vests are exposed to frequent wear and tear. Polytrans, at 110 g/m², offers very good printability and good durability for outdoor use, making it the first choice for occasional use, such as at events or short-term activities. Choose Polycanvas when durability and robustness are paramount, or Polytrans when flexibility and lower costs are more important.
