More than just a piece of fabric

Flags from all over the world are stored at FAHNENGÄRTNER in Mittersill. On a tour of the company, Managing Director Gerald Heerdegen describes the flags as the "longest business card" in the world. Flags make the world more colorful and carry their message in the wind. Flagging has definitely become less common and it hurts how flags are often used, says Gerald Heerdegen, because flags are more than just a piece of fabric.
