PRINT DATA AND
PREPARATION
The preparation and provision of optimal print data is the basis for the production of
high-quality flags & advertising material. We would like to provide you and your advertising agency with the best possible support in creating
the print data. To make it as easy as possible for you,
is happy to provide you with carefully prepared information on the subject of print data.

PREFERRED DATA FORMAT
For finished data we require a PDFX-1a. For all subjects that are to be compiled or edited by us, we require "open data" in order to make changes possible in the first place.
DATA PARAMETERS
The data should be prepared at a scale of 1:10 with an image resolution of at least 1200 dpi and the import and export profile "CMYK Coated Fogra 39" and sent to FAHNENGÄRTNER. Please convert all fonts into paths.
IMAGE FORMATS
The images used should be placed in TIF format (CMYK Coated Fogra 39) with LZW compression. In the case of open data, the image data used must be provided.
COLOR SPECIFICATIONS
We generally print "from data" in CMYK mode (non-binding). If you require special colors, we will only use the "Pantone Solid Coated" color fan (best possible). Please color the data in the vector/path areas with the required Pantone C solid value (Solide Coated).
Attention: Solid tone colorations in image data cannot be recognized by the RIP (raster image processor); the RIP automatically converts these into a CMYK value.
OVERFILLER OR SEAM ALLOWANCES
For digitally printed products, an overfiller of 1 mm (scale 1:10) is only required for cut edges. For rectangular or square shapes, we do not require any overfill or seam allowances. For special shapes such as Beachflags, frames, soundproofing elements, stapled images, etc., please refer to our graphic templates.
POSSIBLE ADDITIONAL COSTS
The conversion of non-usable data will be charged at Euro 75,-/hour net. Of course we will inform you in advance!
SERVICE AND ASSISTANCE WITH DESIGN CREATION
Our graphic designers will be happy to assist you with your design. Existing designs can be adapted according to your wishes or completely redesigned. Depending on the desired activity, we only charge for the actual time spent at a price of EUR 75/hour net.
Data via cloud
Please send us the data via a cloud. We recommend the external service WeTransfer for data transfer. Of course, you can also send us the data via other service providers or your own cloud. Please do not forget to set up the necessary approvals for the download.

Please send us the link or the approvals to verkauf@fahnen-gaertner.com or via our contact form. Don't forget to include relevant order information (e.g. customer details or order number) so that we can assign the graphics correctly.
Note: Please do not send us any USB sticks or other physical data carriers by post. For security reasons, we are unfortunately unable to accept these and must return them unread.
